@dr.carriejackson Many parents can find it hard to know how to respond when their child becomes angry or frustrated. Low frustration tolerance is one symptom of ADHD that can be difficult to know how to respond to. Becoming quickly or easily frustrated can actually be related to executive functioning challenges, such as inhibitory control. Keep in mind that your child doesn't want to be frustrated either, and they are trying their best. If you want to understand more about how emotions are affected by ADHD and have more community support and resources, you can download the Wunder App (in b1o) and check out Understood.org @understood.org and their resources. #understoodorg #adhd #adhdtip #adhdtips #adhdemotions #adhdemotionalregulation #adhdparent #adhdparents #adhdparenting #parentingadhd ♬ original sound - Dr. Carrie
